I play music from new; upcoming artists and play all the popular hits you know and love. I also discuss hot topics of the week and give you some interesting facts about all your favorite artists. Remember to keep it locked to WKNJ 90.3 all week long, especially Tuesdays at 1, to listen to the “Weekly Garble.”

Proposal for "Weekly Garble" and Show 1 Clock

"Weekly Garble" Proposal

The show that I will be doing weekly is called the “Weekly Garble” and I play a variety of music like pop, rock, and hip hop. I also play fairly new music from new and upcoming artists and also mainstream music as well. In the show I will play music, talk about hot topics of the week and play commercials as well. I will also have guests come onto the show from time to time and discuss Kean events as well as local events. I will do facts about the artists that I play and even have telephone interviews.
I will sometimes play more than one song from the same artist and may even turn that into its own segment on my show. The “Weekly Garble” is mainly a show that one can listen to hear an eclectic mix of music and touch on topics that could be political, or in the news or even on a holiday basis. I am even thinking of doing shout-outs for the holidays like St. Valentine’s Day and for birthdays, where people can call up and shout-out to a certain person or I can read them on the air myself. I think that segment will promote the station a bit more throughout the students of Kean.
The “Weekly Garble” will be a show that is solely hosted by me, but I am not opposed to having some guest hosts now and again. My show will be a mid-week show that is easy to listen to and get pulled in by the mix of music I play or the witty chatter. The “Weekly Garble” is more than just a chat show, it is a show that helps promote WKNJ 90.3 and highlights what is happening locally and world-wide.

Format for "Weekly Garble"

The format for my weekly show is going to be mostly pop and rock however, I would like to play a variety of song types and name the show the "Weekly Garble." I will talk, have guests, and of course play music that is old and new. I will play PSAs in my show and talk about Kean events as well as topics such as music facts and whatever is the hot topic for the week.
